ODA Accelerator
Advancing the ODA Reference Canvas to support AI-native integration, governed APIs and interoperable component deployment, with enhanced runtime capabilities demonstrated at DTW Ignite 2026
Agentic Innovation
The Agentic Innovation is a collaborative sandbox where members rapidly experiment with generative AI and agentic systems in real telecom environments. It delivers practical outcomes like AI copilots for assurance and orchestration, while embedding transparency, trust, and interoperability with ODA. With recent prototypes proving measurable efficiency gains, TM Forum AI Virtual Assistant (TM Forum AIVA) is positioning itself as the telecom industry’s trusted path to responsible AI adoption - comparable to global AI labs, but laser-focused on connectivity.
API Petstore
The API Petstore project accelerates the creation, testing, and certification of Open APIs at scale, enabling members to design once and deploy anywhere. With built-in automation, validation, and collaboration tools, the project ensures every API is robust, compliant, and production-ready. New features now allow real-time certification and cross-vendor interoperability, putting it on par with the best developer platforms worldwide while staying rooted in telecom standards.
Fault management across all domains
This Innovation Hub Pioneer Project is working on managing faults in an Autonomous Networks level 4 scenario. This involves combining the thinking and design/implementation patterns from each of the Autonomous Networks high-value scenario (HVS) use cases and abstracting the patterns to create a set of common reusable processes to manage faults across the entire network and for all network technologies.
End-to-end 5G dynamic slice management
This Innovation Hub Pioneer Project is working on how to manage dynamic 5G slices end-to-end from the customer to the network. This is part of a wider objective to redesign AI-enabled systems and processes for the end-to-end management of the IT and network elements of an autonomous network. This is a key aspect of accelerating the journey to Autonomous Networks level 4, with a set of flexible, agile IT systems to standardize how network resources and services are managed.
Project Foundation
This Innovation Hub Pioneer Project is creating a secure, open, multi‑vendor AI‑native ODA Canvas sandbox where CSPs, vendors, and innovators can build, integrate, and demonstrate AI agents aligned to the TM Forum’s AI‑Native Blueprint. With a “code‑first” approach, the project shifts participants from conceptual discussions to hands‑on, production‑driven engineering across data, agent interactions, and model lifecycle management. The initiative will culminate in a live demonstration at DTW Ignite 2026, showcasing real interoperability and paving the way for scalable AI adoption.

What does the Governance of the Innovation Hub program look like?
A Steering Committee of the TM Forum Board of Trustees will provide support, guidance, and direction for the Hub program during its pilot phase. The projects will be overseen by the TM Forum CTO office, which oversees all collaborative work in the Forum.
What is TM Forum’s direct involvement in the program?
A new TM Forum Innovation Hub team will facilitate Hub projects as part of TM Forum’s CTO office. This team will provide management, support, and technical guidance to Hub projects.
Innovation Hub projects will provide a new way of collaborating to a deeper level. They can be thought of as an extension of the collaboration capabilities of TM Forum and will draw from the Forum’s extensive experience in remote and in-person industry collaboration.

The Members involved in the program include; Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Axiata Digital Labs, BCE GlobalTech, China Mobile, Databricks, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Huawei, Inspur, Jio, Mulesoft, Vodafone and ZTE.

The Innovation Hub Core projects and Pioneer Projects are delivering breakthrough thinking and rapid business impact. Outputs include hands-on implementation guidance, working code, and important feedback to improve industry standards. All Hub projects aim to impact the entire industry positively.

The Hub itself sits on the Reliance Jio Campus, a stunning modern development set in 52 acres with views across the Arabian Sea.
The campus offers a roof top swimming pool, India’s first astroturf football pitch, cricket stadium, and a well-equipped fitness centre.
Innovators can enjoy fine dining and canteen on site. The grounds include a lake and meditation zone.
The area is close to national and international transport infrastructure.
